Our mission is to bridge the gap in healthcare by providing free medical equipment to those in need, empowering them to maintain independence and well-being. Whether it's a senior seeking mobility aids, a veteran requiring specialized equipment, or an individual with disabilities facing financial barriers, we stand committed to delivering a helping hand.
We recognize the transformative power of kindness and community engagement. We actively support and uplift those who embody the spirit of compassion, creating a ripple effect of positive change in our neighborhoods. By fostering a culture of giving, we aim to build a stronger, more interconnected community where everyone can thrive.

Together, with unwavering dedication and a heart for service, we envision a world where healthcare disparities are minimized, and the spirit of kindness propels us forward. THE H.E.L.P. PROGRAM FOR SENIORS
The H.E.L.P. Program for Seniors stands for Helping Elderly Live Productively. Today, Seniors need community support. We want to be one of those nonprofit organizations to help when we can. So, in conjunction with a few knowledgeable Occupational Therapists, we launched our HELP FOR SENIORS PROGRAM in 2017. This program assists those seniors who can’t afford the out of pocket expense of certain adaptive/DME products or who are waiting for approval from their insurance provider but may need it now.
HOW IT WORKS
Your healthcare professional will request items (or you can) via our H.E.L.P. online form. Once we receive your request, we will review your application, and make a very quick decision to approve (normally within 48 hours). Once your request has been approved, you will fill out our “hold harmless agreement” and you will receive your requested item(s) if we have them available. Please note: these items are for your use and we request when you are finished with these items, you return them to Blessings In Disguise.

A senior in our community who needs assistance with obtaining a piece of medical equipment such as a walker, wheelchair, rollator, raised toilet seat, bedside commode, reacher, sock aid etc….that were denied by insurance and the out of pocket will hurt your ability to buy food or prescriptions, we can help. You can request an item for yourself or a loved one by sending us an email at [email protected].
